‘America’s Got Talent’ finalist and Tyler Perry player Zuri Craig dies at 44

In the wake of Zuri Craig’s death Wednesday night at a hospital in Los Angeles, the singer’s fans took to social media to express their grief.

Craig, 44, was a finalist on the season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” He was also a contestant on “The Voice” and a former teen star on “The WB’s” Glee.

His name is on the cover of Glee magazine. His song “I’ll Be There for You” was a finalist for the 2009 International Pop Vocal Competition.

He was nominated for best song and best urban contemporary album at the 2008 New England Music Awards. He was also nominated for best pop voice in a movie musical at the 2007 New York Festivals.
